With the Salesforce Managed Package, you can set up the Page view of your Objects to show SalesIntel Components, such as:
- ContactView - it will show you what info does SalesIntel has for the currently pulled up contact.
- ObjectView - it will show you what info does SalesIntel has for the currently pulled up Lead.
- AccountView - it will show you what info does SalesIntel has for the currently pulled up Account.
Note: Each component can only be used on specific objects. Ex: ObjectView component cannot be placed inside the contact page. |
Setting Up Inline pages
- Login to your Salesforce and open one of your object Contact/Lead/Account.
- Open a record on that object.
- Click the cogwheel on the upper right corner of your page, and select "Edit Page".
- Click the tabs of your object, and click Add Tab.
- Click the newly added tab, and select Custom on the dropdown list.
- Enter a Name for your Tab, then hit Enter. Click Done.
- Go to your new tab.
- Search Salestintel, select the component that you want to put on your tab
- Drag and drop it on the blank space of your tab.
It will show you a preview of what it will look like on your tab. - Click Save.
- Select which location it will default to, either as Org Default, App Default, or Record. then assign as Default.
- Select which form where it will default to. Then click Next.
- Review and Save.
- Click the back arrow on the upper left corner to go back to your Object view.
Depending on the component that you've added to the page, it will show you all the information that SalesIntel has for the selected record, based on your mapped fields.
- Green - this indicates that SalesIntel has existing information for the blank field.
- Red - this indicates that SalesIntel has new information on the current info of this field.
You can select which information would you like to be carried over to your Salesforce record by selecting the tick-box, and clicking Update Selected Fields.
Note: If you being prompted to with the message "Please sign in to your SalesIntel Account to proceed" message when accessing the inline page, please see "Salesforce Managed Package Login"
Removing Inline pages
- Follow steps 1-3 above.
- Click the tabs of your object, then click the "x" mark to remove the inline page, then click Save.
