If you are planning to Export to CRM you will have the choice to choose between an Advanced or a Basic automation. Each automation has different setup required, so first, you'll need to choose what type of automation you need.
Advanced Automation
An advanced automation allows you export the Intent Score and the Intent Date for any surging companies, along with the company. If there are multiple topics in your automation, this data will be written for each topic that is surging.
In order to set this automation up, you need to create an Intent Score and and Intent date for all topics you are including in your automation so we can write the Intent Score/Date to those fields. We recommend naming your fields based on each topic. Example: If your intent topic is "Data Preparation" you would set up two fields:
- Data Preparation Intent Date
- Data Preparation Intent Score
Below are the field types that can be mapped for Intent Date and Intent Score for each integration:
SalesForce:
Intent Date: date, string, textarea
Intent Score: int, double, currency, string, textarea-
HubSpot:
Intent Date: date, string
Intent Score: string, number -
Zoho:
Intent Date: date, text, textarea
Intent Score: integer, double, currency, textarea, text -
Dynamics:
Intent Date: datetime, string
Intent Score: integer, double, string, money
To map these fields, head over to Settings > Integrations > [Your Integration] > Account Mappings. Here, you'll be able to map each topic to the prepared fields. Depending on how you name these fields, auto-mapping makes quick work of this step.
Auto-Mapping
When you reach the step, our auto-mapping will help you automatically select the Intent Date and Intent Score fields in your CRM for your topics.
In order for the auto-mapping to work you need to set the fields in your CRM in the following format:
- Intent Date Fields: Name the field with the exact name and spelling of your intent topic, along with "Intent Date." Example: If your topic is "CyberSecurity" your field would need to be named "CyberSecurity Intent Date".
- Intent Score Fields: Name the field with the exact name and spelling of your intent topic, along with "Intent Score." Example: If your topic is "CyberSecurity" your field would need to be named "CyberSecurity Intent Score".
Basic Automation
A Basic automation allows you to export the Intent Date and any companies that are surging on topics in your automation. We will not write an Intent Score to the company in your CRM. Even if there are multiple topics in your automation, this data will only be written once if any topic is surging.
In order to set this automation up, you only need to create a single "Intent Date" field in your CRM on the company/account record for each automation. When the automation runs we will export companies, and write the date to this single field on all companies. If you have multiple automations, you may want a date fields specific to each one, so that you know which set of topic(s) are surging.
Below are the field types that can be mapped for Intent Date for each integration:
- Salesforce: date, string, textarea
- HubSpot: date, string
- Zoho: date, text, textarea
- Dynamics: datetime, string
