There are two types of growth signals - full and lite.
- Full signals have additional information specific to the type of signal, when available. For example, new product launches include information about the product being launched.
- Lite signals let you know that an event happened, but they point you to a news article to learn the details.
In both cases, this additional data is available as part of your export to CRM (optional - map the Signal Details field when configuring your export) or your email report.
Although all full growth signals contain different data fields specific to the type of event, that data is all written to a single text field in your CRM. You may use one field per signal type or create a new field for each type of signal to avoid overwriting. Here's an example where a date (IPO Date) and detail (IPO Details) field were created specifically for IPO signals:
The following signals are lite signals, providing a news link in reference to the event: Conference Presentation, Asset Sales, Change in Control, Delisting, Earnings, Fraud, Indictment, Line of Credit, Litigation, Name Change, Other Negative News, Stock, Branch Management, Business Closing, Board, Hiring
