Export technology install data to your CRM or Marketing Automation Platform (or via CSV) to ensure that your sales and marketing teams have the detail they need to run highly-target campaigns and have great conversations.
To begin, ensure you have access to this feature. If you need to upgrade, contact your success manager or support@salesintel.io. Configuration of this feature is limited to SalesIntel CRM admins. If your account does not have a CRM admin, the functionality is available to all SalesIntel account admins.
Select Target Technologies
Start by choosing the technologies of interest. Your purchased plan will limit the number of technologies that you can select. An account admin must complete this step.
1. First, go to Welcome > Technographics Settings.
2. Click on the Exports tab.
3. Choose Categories, or search for Providers and Products of interest. These are the technologies that will appear in your exports. The available technologies match the technologies used in search filters. As you type, a filtered list of available technologies appear. Select the technologies of interest. If you choose categories, each subcategory counts towards your plan limit.
4. Click Save to preserve your selections.
You may change your selections at any time.
If you only need to export technologies to CSV, your configuration is complete! A true/false value will be output for each selected technology on your CSV exports. To export to a CRM or Marketing Automation Platform, continue to the next section.
Map Fields for Export via an Integration
To see tech install data within your CRM or Marketing Automation Platform, configure the field mappings to instruct SalesIntel how to send the data. A CRM admin must complete this step, if one is in place on your account. If not, an account admin may complete this step.
1. First, you will need to ensure that there are appropriate fields in the destination integration to accommodate this data. In most cases, you will want to create a custom field for each technology. This is a true/false value, so only Boolean/Checkbox fields are supported for mapping. Refer to the table below to create the right fields for your integration:
Integration |
Supported Field Type |
Supported Record Types |
Dynamics |
Two Options |
Account, Lead |
HubSpot |
Single Checkbox |
Contact |
Marketo |
Boolean |
Contact |
Salesforce |
Checkbox |
Account, Lead |
Zoho |
Boolean |
Account, Lead |
2. Next, go to Welcome > Integrations Settings and choose the integration of interest. You will be able to repeat this process for multiple integrations, if needed.
3. If the integration is not already set up, complete the setup process.
4. Once setup is complete, select the mapping tab for the record type of interest. The record types supported for each integration are listed above.
5. On that record type, choose the Technographics Mapping tab. On this tab, you will see the technologies that you've selected for your account, and can map them to the appropriate fields in the destination integration. Only compatible field types will be shown.
6. Save your changes. If you add or change your technologies, you will need to complete this process again for the new technologies.
Once you export a record, a true/false value will be output for each selected technology based on the mapped fields above. When exporting contacts to Dynamics, Salesforce, or Zoho, an accompanying account record is also exported, and that record will contain this information. When exporting accounts or leads, this information is directly on the record, if mapped.
